Scuba Diving Fiji

Looking for the ultimate adventure? Then you've found it! PADI's Advanced Open Water programme is all about exploration, excitement and new experiences. It develops your dive skills and allows you to explore all that Fiji scuba diving has to offer. You don't need to be a great diver to take part; it is design to 'advance' your skills and experience. It's your dive, now go for it!

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver with Dive The World Fiji

The PADI Adventures in Diving programme offers you 2 certification options so there is something for everyone. For those who are short on time, they may complete any 3 qualifying adventure dives to earn the PADI Adventure Diver rating. But complete the Deep and Underwater Navigation adventure dives plus 3 more adventure dives and you'll earn yourself the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

During the Deep dive, you learn how to plan scuba dives and how to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper diving. The Underwater Navigation dive enhances your compass skills and shows you how to use kick-cycles, visual landmarks and elapsed time to navigate. The other knowledge and skills you get depend on your interests and the adventures you decide to opt for. The course in Fiji includes 3 of the following list of adventure dives:

  • Boat
  • Drift
  • Multilevel and Dive Computer
  • Night
  • Peak Performance Buoyancy
  • Search and Recovery
  • Underwater Naturalist
  • Underwater Photography

The Advanced Open Water course offers you a structured programme where you gain additional experience and skills under the guidance of a PADI professional. This is a performance and experience-based, in-water programme with little in the way of formal class and theory. What's more, PADI adventure dives also count towards PADI specialty certifications.

So what does this Fiji scuba adventure programme offer you? New skills and experiences, lots of diving fun and thrilling underwater adventure.
