The nearest re-compression chamber is in Suva on the main island of Viti Levu - approximately 100 km north of Kadavu. We strongly recommend you have your own diving insurance that covers emergency evacuation.
The dive boat carries a first aid kit and oxygen is available. It is also equipped with evacuation procedures and local band radios. One divemaster is provided on each boat trip - the boat can carry a maximum of eight divers.
For non-diving emergencies there is a small clinic at Kavala Bay, 10 minutes by boat, or a larger medical facility at Vunisea, Kadavu Airport. It takes 60 minutes by boat to get there.

You can deposit your valuables at reception in a safety deposit box. The nearest police station is at Vunisea.
