Students learn to prevent and manage in-water problems, becoming more confident in their scuba skills, knowing that they can help others when required. The Rescue programme develops your knowledge and skills so you can effectively rescue and/or assist other divers, manage accident situations and giving first aid, using a variety of techniques. This Fiji dive course is an important step in expanding your knowledge and experience as a diver. It helps shift your primary focus of attention from yourself, to starting to think about others that may need your help more.

After successfully completing this programme in Fiji, you'll receive the internationally recognised PADI Rescue Diver certification card. The license is also a prerequisite for all PADI professional membership programmes.
Entry requirements: Participants must be at least 12 years old and be Advanced Open Water Diver qualified. You will also need to be Emergency First Response trained (or another sanctioned programme) within the past 24 months (you may complete this EFR course during the Rescue Diver programme if you prefer).
