Now is the time for you to take the plunge into the PADI Open Water Diver course, the most widely recognised scuba programme in the world! This is your license to a lifetime of intense adventure and pleasure with PADI, the most popular training association in the global diving community. Learn to dive in Fiji whilst your on vacation!
During the course, you'll learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including equipment basics and techniques. You will earn your Open Water Diver certification by completing 5 sessions in a training pool, 5 knowledge development sessions and by making 4 dives at some of Fiji's best sites.

As a certified PADI Open Water Diver you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independently of a professional. If you already tried a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience or are Scuba Diver certified, you may get credit from these courses to the open water programme. Your underwater adventures can begin as soon as you want with the Open Water manual and video. You can study and view them at your own pace if you'd prefer and then meet with one of the instructors for further assistance.
Virtually anyone who is reasonably fit, in good health, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification. At some point during your course, your PADI Instructor will ask you to demonstrate the ability to swim 200 metres, tread water, and complete a bit of paperwork to set you on your way.
The Open Water Diver license is a permanent scuba qualification so you earn it for life. However, if you do not dive for over 12 months and you are relatively inexperienced at diving, then we recommend you complete a refresher programme, such as the PADI Scuba Review. This can take as little as one hour of your time in the dive pool and gives you the chance to refresh all those skills that you may have forgotten. This way, when you dive again you can immediately relax and enjoy your time underwater even more.
Entry requirements: Participants must be at least 10 years old, be able to swim and be in good physical health. No prior scuba diving experience is required.
